Foster Care
Are you interested in becoming a foster parent?

Deciding to create a foster home by becoming a foster parent is a big decision. We can help you determine if it’s the right decision for you.

Foster care is the provision of short-term care and supportive services to children who are unable to live at home due to child abuse and neglect. The Maryland Department of Human Resources places children in family foster homes, as well as in group-care settings.

DHR is looking for foster parents who love children and who can help give children without homes the emotional support and stability they need to grow into strong, healthy adults. This is a difficult task, which is why we need your help.

We have children in the State of Maryland that need homes as we work to find them permanent placements.

If you are interested in becoming a foster parent, please call us at 1-800-332-6347.

Let us show you how you can make an enormous difference in the lives of children.
